The gallery8680 is hosting another great show featuring emerging artists from the area.  Students@work2011 features about 30 artists from Collin College, and includes painting, drawing, ceramics, sculpture and mixed media work.  The Opening Reception is this Friday, June 10 from 7-10pm at thegallery8680, located at 8680 Main Street, Frisco.

This is thegallery8680’s second students@work show, with their first in 2009.

Jurors for this show were Richard Oldham, Public Arts Manager for the City of Frisco, and Frisco artist Misty Oliver Foster.

“The quality and diversity of the entries from Collin College is impressive,” states Foster.   “I think viewers will be taken by the creativity and professionlism exhibited in this show.”
