Frisco Public Art presents the 13th Art in the Atrium exhibit at City Hall.
The mission of the City of Frisco Public Art Program is to promote cultural, aesthetic, and economic vitality in Frisco by integrating the work of artists into public places, civic infrastructure and private development. In keeping with that mission the public art board initiated Frisco’s Art in the Atrium series at the George A. Purefoy Municipal Center. This facility with its open atrium design and tall limestone walls has proven to be an exceptional venue to showcase the artistic excellence of our local and regional artists.
This exhibition is part of the city’s ongoing exhibition program series at Frisco’s City Hall to showcase regional artistic endeavors and to encourage public dialogue, understanding and enjoyment of visual art. The program’s goal is to reflect the artistic excellence in and around Frisco and to promote the city’s cultural and economic initiatives.
Join the artists for the opening reception on Monday, October 17, 6-8pm.
